South Gloucestershire Council is a partner in the Gloucestershire Warm and Well scheme, which aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce people’s energy bills and combat the potential health risks associated with people not being able to keep their homes warm.

Warm and Well provides grants for home energy efficiency improvements such as loft and cavity wall insulations and heating system installations. Any householder can access advice from the scheme, and practical help including discounts and grants may be available to the most vulnerable.

For example, free loft and cavity wall insulation is available for South Gloucestershire homeowners over the age of 65.

In addition, Warm and Well can refer you to other Government backed schemes such as Warm Front and the fuel utilities CERT scheme, which can help save you money.
