It is our intention to make this website as accessible and usable as possible, using the principles and best practice of the WCAG 1.0 AA guidelines. Whilst it is our aim to comply with the WCAG guidelines, we recognise that web technology continues to evolve and advance, therefore it is possible that some guidelines are less applicable than at their time of publication. We also recognise that there might be new guidelines introduced, which we will endeavour to add as quickly as possible.

Access Keys
This website takes advantage of access key technology. The keyboard shortcuts for the access keys vary depending on the web broswer that you are using and also whether you are using a PC or a MAC. It is possible to view our website in different styles, this can be achieved via our text only view of the site, you will be able to change the configuration of the page, this includes the ability to:

The South Gloucestershire website has been built to comply with standards XHTML and CSS2. At every stage the code has been checked for accessibility using a range of automated and (more significantly) manual checks.
Browsers
The South Gloucestershire website has been tested and proved functional using 54 different web browsers. The site has also been tested with mobile devices.
